Use this site to find health information from the world's largest medical library, the National Library of Medicine. MedlinePlus has extensive information from the National Institutes of Health and other trusted sources on over 700 diseases and conditions. There are also lists of hospitals and physicians, a medical encyclopedia and a medical dictionary, health information in Spanish, extensive information on prescription and nonprescription drugs, health information from the media, and links to thousands of clinical trials.

This site offers three full-text publications by Merck.  The Merck Manual of Medical Information Home Edition is available in interactive or text-based editions.  The Merck Manual of Geriatrics is the 3rd edition, published in 2000.  The Merck Manual of Diagnosis and Therapy is the seventeenth edition.

RxList is a prescription drug database maintained by Neil Sandow, a licensed pharmacist in California.  The database of approximately 5,000 product names is updated every several days.  RxList is searchable by keyword, brand name, generic name, or imprint code (the alphanumeric characters printed on many tablets and capsules.)  Access to Taber's Medical Encyclopedia is also included.
